Aims and objectives:
The course emphasizes the importance of responsible AI usage through hands-on experience. Attendees will develop practical skills in building, customizing, and troubleshooting AI applications tailored for educational purposes, ensuring they are well-prepared to integrate AI into their teaching practices. The workshop also aims to promote digital literacy and critical thinking skills, both among educators and their students, thus preparing them for success in an increasingly AI-driven digital world. The course provides insights into the future of AI in education. It empowers educators to confidently embrace AI as a powerful tool for enhancing the learning experiences of their students.
Learning outcomes:
Participants will emerge from the course with a sense of responsibility, capable of navigating AI in an educational context, including the ability to identify and address privacy concerns and biases. Participants will have practical skills, enabling them to build, customize, and troubleshoot AI applications, making them proficient in the implementation of AI generative tools in the classroom. The course will equip educators with effective strategies for integrating AI into their lesson plans, ultimately enhancing the learning experience for their students.
Target groups: Educators from kindergarten to university level in any subject who are interested in integrating AI into their classroom and lessons.
