Hunter Niederhauser was born in New York City and graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography in 2003. Hunter went on to do advertising and started two successful companies in the United States before he decided to pursue his passion for teaching. He moved to Mexico in 2011 and started teaching English as a second language living in Villahermosa and Cancun becoming the regional pedagogical director for the Yucatan peninsula. He received his second degree in 2020 in Art Studies. Hunter moved to Budapest, Hungary from Morocco in 2020 where he had been teaching English for 5 years to adults and children.
