This course gives VET teachers the skills to design and implement digital assessment systems that truly measure competences rather than memorisation. It focuses on formative and summative assessment strategies that are fair, inclusive, and aligned with modern labour market needs.

Description:

Participants will gain practical experience in creating digital assessment frameworks for competence-based learning. The course introduces various digital platforms, assessment rubrics, and feedback models that enhance transparency and learning outcomes. Teachers will also explore strategies for integrating AI-supported assessment tools and ensuring accessibility for learners with diverse needs.

Aims and objectives:

- Understand the principles of competence-based assessment in VET
- Learn how to use digital platforms for formative and summative testing
- Ensure inclusivity, fairness, and transparency in digital assessment
- Support students in reflecting on their own progress through digital tools

Learning outcomes:

- Design competence-based digital tasks and exams
- Implement online formative assessments that guide learning
- Apply assessment rubrics and AI-based tools for objective evaluation
- Promote inclusive practices ensuring accessibility for all learners
